Hood, is a nonprofit mountaineering education
organization located in Portland, Oregon.
Mazamas offers over 900 hikes and 350 climbs
annually for over 13,000 participants. A
variety of classes and activities are offered
for every skill and fitness level and are open
to both members and non-members."

opportunities; you don't necessarily have to be

MEETin.org is 100% free and 100%
volunteers." We've been part of this group
back back in 2004 and have both hosted and
participated in other members' events.

chapter of the international group of
non-competitive running and drinking
clubs. So if you'd like to partake in
drinking beer and running events, there's
usually a weekly hash that also welcomes
newbies. Cost is just $5 per event.

value on friendships, so although we wouldn't
necessarily count Recesstime Sports Leagues in
the class of cheap activities, you will find
that your registration fee does give you a lot
of bang for your buck. The best part is
that you can register as an individual and
you'll be placed on a team--instant
camaraderie! Leagues for kickball, dodge
ball, bowling, mush ball and ping pong form
throughout the year so check it out.
